Job Title : Field Service Engineer – Drive and Control

Division : Suriyen Technologies Sdn Bhd - Borneo region

Location : Kuching / Bintulu

The Field Service Engineer (FSE) require to plans and executes, with minimal professionalguidance, technical field assignments involving the installation, modification, test, inspection or repair of company products and equipment. The FSE may also coordinate work with other groups

to ensure meeting customer commitments.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Deliver excellent customer service.

• Provide timely, detailed, and accurate reports on service work performed, product performance, and warranty liabilities.

• Support the department business targets for orders, revenues, and Utilization

• Provide prompt and timely support to customers’ needs during and outside of normal working hours, including contribution to a 24/7 on call rotation

• Maximize the scope of the existing LV/MV Drives Service portfolio to deliver added value solutions to customers

• Maintain the expertise of the Suriyen Technologies service team through training, personal development, workshops, documentation, and knowledge sharing

• Understanding of Customer Service principles and their effect on the business

• Demonstrate safety consciousness in equipment handling, electrical and electronic procedures, and the unique situations encountered at diverse work sites

Requirements:

• High degree of technical knowledge of LV, MV Drives or PLC Products and services

• Strong background in an Industrial sector

• Demonstrate excellent customer focus

• Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering

• Good networking and strong people skills

• Results orientation Preferred

• Power Engineering and/or the willingness to learn is a highly desirable

• Drive and PLC with a focus on Instrumentation testing and commissioning.

• Service and maintenance of LV / MV drive, PLC, and instrument.

• Electrical background and experience in LV / MV drive

• Offshore experience

• Oil and Gas experience
